Carrion Events also creates special one off evening events and screenings, showcasing the best of independent film and locally produced short films.

‘My passion would be to attract the wider audience to an event that wouldn’t necessarily be on their radar. To educate and encourage a diverse group of people from all backgrounds to network and share skill sets. To allow others to believe that they can do anything.’ – Sue Thorpe

Hell Tor festival returns in 2024

In March 2024 Carrion Events hosted a special screening of Jake West’s documentary ‘Mancunian Man’ and included a post screening discussion with director, producer and animator about the creation of the film and the many challenges bringing it to the screen.
